SH10151 - This is the serial number of our orbital gun

You guys. I cooked this week. I went on an adventure to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods to track down strange ingredients (Still unclear on what the fuck Allspice Berries are. They're not berries at all), came home, followed a recipe, and IT TURNED OUT GREAT. It made me want to cook more often, even if only to not let all the spices I had to buy go to waste. We had a huge Thanksgiving potluck in my office on Thursday evening and it was delicious! I was in charge of the cranberry sauce, which Berta assigned to me because she knows I can't cook anything ever. But I didn't want to bring boring nasty cranberry sauce, so I put on my imaginary apron and did the damn thing.

I keep doing things that surprise myself yet they don't seem to surprise anyone else. Unless everyone is just keeping very quiet about my silly decisions, which I guess is totally possible. Maybe people have just finally figured out that I never end up paying attention to advice or suggestions that they offer me. I am so stubborn. I feel really bad for anyone that has to try and tell me no.

2 Wicky by Hooverphonic is such a great song. That creepy little part at 2:30 was what they used as background music when Sarah Michelle Gellar got sliced up in I Know What You Did Last Summer. Not that that's why I like the song, but that's what I think of when I hear it lol
