The Mariposa Grove of Giant Trees, the wedding, the Mondays

Having trouble deciding what to say about the weekend I just had.

Cindy's family is so great. I was totally wrong in the last post when I said it was an Indian themed wedding. Xiomara married an Indian man, but I somehow didn't remember Cindy telling me that. It was an Indian wedding. Halfway, anyway. It was nuts, and was definitely the most fun I've ever had at a wedding.

I had the time and atmosphere to do a lot of thinking over the past few days. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

We went to Yosemite on Sunday and explored. That place took my breath away.

Sorry friends, those are all the words I've got today. Pictures are much better.

  1. The wedding looks like so much fun! I need to find someone who can do henna well, it's so lovely.

    1. The lady that applied the henna was wonderful, I told her I didn't want something flowery and instead wanted something geometric with sharp angles. She didn't disappoint!

  2. A couple of comments:
    1. I would also totally take a picture with the giant "ass"
    2. Those henna tattoos turned out awesome. I had one once, and it was not the greatest experience in my life. But, you know, YOLO.
    3. Those mountains are gorgeous, and I am jealous.

And obviously I can't walk by anything that says ASS without putting my ass on it.

    1. That little girl was THE CUTEST THING ON EARTH. I couldn't get over her. She has more personality than most 25 year olds I know.

  7. Wow, and Indian wedding! I bet the wedding reception was absolutely crazy. Beautiful photos, as always too. What is it with people on my feed posting ridiculously great photos? Jesus guys, I'm starting to feel some pressure. :(
